Over 30 volunteers assembled this evening at the Library Center on South Campbell. It was pretty energizing to see so many folks willing to help make the March For Science a success!
Up to this point so many of the volunteers have only known each other as a Facebook profile picture, so there was a long overdue round of introductions! Once we all knew each other, we made short work of collating, tri-folding, stuffing and stamping over 80 letters to businesses along and nearby the march route. And of course they also got the Pluto Discovered and Star Trek stamps, just like the legislators did.
Then we tackled the rest of the agenda. If you weren’t there, you missed out on some great discussion. And a sign making party was set up, headed by Vicke Kepling, to make some great march signs! You gotta join us that evening. Head on over to the Facebook event to get more info.
