This morning an anonymous person donated $290 to the Springfield March For Science GoFundMe campaign! What makes this one donation special is the fact that it was the remaining amount needed to reach the fundraising campaign goal! Thanks to her and 31 other generous people the march costs are covered. All within 25 days, too!
We received the donation this morning, with an acknowledgement saying the donor understood and appreciated the work that goes into these events. We simply could not carry on without support like this. What a way to start the day!
It is so refreshing and awe inspiring to see such reaction from the community at large. Anonymous did us a magnificent favor, and we will make sure that our march doesn’t disappoint.
